Maritime English Practice — Foundation

A full maritime English sitting in six parts, written entirely in English at working-crew level: spoken messages read aloud by the app (bridge orders, radio calls, announcements, engine-room and mooring reports) with illustrated shipboard scenes, shipboard vocabulary, grammar as it is used in reports and procedures, reading of notices, procedures, log entries and emails, paraphrasing between standard wording and plain English, and judgement items on reporting, clarifying, handing over and speaking with guests. It is not an official Marlin test and is not normed.
